Travel Documentation

U.S. citizens traveling outside of the United States must have a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date. Some countries also require a visa for transit or entry. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure they have all necessary travel documents, including valid passports, visas, and any required immunizations.

All travel documents must match the legal name on the traveler’s government-issued photo identification, and the information must match the airline tickets. Passengers are also responsible for ensuring that any legal issues do not prevent them from entering their destination country.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding, denied entry, or government-imposed fines.

Non-U.S. citizens may have additional entry requirements. Travelers should consult the consulate or embassy of their destination to verify requirements for non-U.S. citizens.

Additionally, new federal regulations require REAL ID-compliant identification for domestic air travel.

All travelers are responsible for obtaining the necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and any other required certifications.

Entry Requirements for Foreign Countries (Including Canada)

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are eligible for entry into any country they plan to visit. Past or present legal issues — including, but not limited to, outstanding child support, registration as a sex offender, DUI offenses, or felony convictions — may result in being deemed inadmissible. Some countries reserve the right to deny entry at their discretion. For example, a past DUI conviction may render a traveler inadmissible to Canada

Cruise Travel

For U.S. citizens, a passport is strongly recommended but is not always required for cruises that depart from and return to the same U.S. port and travel only within the Western Hemisphere. In these cases, passengers may present a government-issued photo ID along with proof of citizenship, such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or a Certificate of Naturalization. Some cruise lines require a valid passport for all sailings. Passengers should confirm documentation requirements with their vacation specialist.

A valid passport is required for any air travel to or from a foreign country. Traveling with a valid passport is recommended to avoid complications if a guest needs to fly to meet the ship at a later port or return to the United States before the cruise is completed.

Airline Reservations

Unless otherwise notified, Dream Vacations assumes that clients are arranging their own travel to and from their cruise or tour. Dream Vacations is responsible only for the cruise or tour portion of the booking unless airline arrangements are specifically requested.

Seat assignments will be requested at the time of booking and are based on the best available options. Some flights do not allow advance seat assignments, and seats may only be assigned at airport check-in or purchased directly from the airline. Seat assignments are not guaranteed and may be changed by the airline for reasons beyond our control.

Flights booked through our suppliers at discounted rates may not be eligible for upgrades using frequent flyer points, and some fares may accumulate reduced frequent flyer mileage.

We are unable to book tickets using frequent flyer miles.

For independent air reservations, a non-refundable booking fee of $49 per person applies for domestic tickets and $99 per person for international tickets. This fee does not apply to air reservations booked as part of a package or through cruise line air programs.

Unless otherwise stated, all airline reservations are non-refundable.

Method of Payment

Credit or debit cards are the preferred method of payment for all vacations. For the security of both our clients and our agency, we do not accept personal checks or cash

Cruise Price Monitoring

The Operach Team uses a proprietary automated system to monitor cruise price reductions. While we make every effort to identify and apply eligible reductions, we cannot guarantee that all price drops will be captured.

Certain rate codes and promotional offers from cruise lines do not permit price adjustments. Travel insurance pricing is based on the original trip value and will not be reduced if the cruise fare decreases.

Many cruise lines do not allow price reductions after final payment. In these cases, we will make best efforts to secure stateroom upgrades if available at a lower price within higher meta-categories (such as interior, oceanview, balcony, or suites). Upgrades are at the sole discretion of the cruise line and are not guaranteed.

Non-refundable cruise rates may not qualify for any price reductions or upgrades.

Price adjustments will only be processed if the reduction exceeds $100 per person. A service fee of up to $50 per person may apply to any processed price reduction.

Ocean and River Cruise Itinerary Changes

Ocean and river cruising is an excellent way to travel; however, itineraries are subject to change. Weather conditions, river levels, mechanical issues, or other factors may require adjustments before or during the cruise

For example, an ocean cruise may alter its route to avoid a storm or hurricane, and a river cruise may substitute portions of the journey with motorcoach transportation if water levels are too low or too high for safe navigation.

These decisions are made at the discretion of the cruise line, often on short notice, and are beyond our control. Any compensation related to itinerary changes is at the sole discretion of the cruise line and may not be offered.

Hotel/Resort Room Requests

Requests for specific hotel room locations, views, or special accommodations will be submitted to the property on behalf of the client. However, these requests are not guaranteed and are subject to availability upon check-in. Room assignments are managed solely by the hotel, and fulfillment of requests is beyond our control. We will make every effort to advocate for your preferences, but final decisions are at the discretion of the hotel.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is non-refundable once purchased. Insurance premiums are calculated based on the total cost of the trip at the time of booking. If any additional components (such as excursions, upgrades, or airfare) are added to your trip after the initial insurance purchase, this may increase the total trip cost and result in a higher insurance premium. In such cases, we will automatically charge the credit card on file for the additional premium amount to ensure full coverage for your updated travel plans.

Intoxication and Personal Conduct

By booking travel services through our agency, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own behavior and personal conduct throughout your trip. We are not liable for any issues, injuries, death, damages, penalties, denied services (including boarding, excursions, or entry to venues), or additional expenses that may arise due to intoxication, substance use, or disruptive behavior.

We do not accept any responsibility for consequences resulting from intoxication, including but not limited to missed flights or transportation, removal from properties or excursions, or refusal of service by travel providers. Any costs incurred due to such incidents shall be the sole responsibility of the traveler, and no refunds or compensation will be issued.

Travelers are expected to adhere to local laws, the policies of service providers (such as airlines, cruise lines, resorts, and tour operators), and to conduct themselves in a manner that ensures the safety and enjoyment of themselves and others.

Destination Safety & Travel Advisories

You acknowledge and agree that the safety of travel destinations cannot be guaranteed. Conditions in any destination—including crime, political unrest, natural disasters, health outbreaks, or terrorism—can change at any time and without warning. As travel advisor, we do not monitor or guarantee the current safety of any destination and shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience arising from such circumstances.

You are strongly advised to consult official governmental travel advisories, specifically the U.S. Department of State’s Travel Advisory website (Travel.State.Gov), prior to booking or traveling. These advisories are updated regularly and provide important information on safety, security, and health risks in each destination.

By proceeding with your travel arrangements, you confirm that you have reviewed the current information from the U.S. Department of State (or your government’s equivalent) and accept full responsibility for any decisions related to travel safety. We recommend enrolling in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for real-time alerts and in-case-of-emergency assistance .

Agency Payment and Cancellation Deadlines

Please note that The Operach Team may establish payment due dates and cancellation deadlines that differ from those published by the travel supplier. These agency-specific dates take precedence and are considered binding, even if the supplier allows for later deadlines. To account for processing time, potential delays, and to ensure adequate time to address any unforeseen issues, a minimum of five (5) days will be added to any penalty or cancellation deadlines set by the supplier. Clients are responsible for meeting the deadlines communicated by our agency, not those listed directly by the supplier.

Agency Fees

Most vacations will not incur additional fees beyond a standard $39 booking fee. An additional fee applies to independently booked air reservations that are not part of a bundled package or a cruise line air program.

All agency fees are non-refundable.
